Hello lovelies,
Well winter is still in full flow here in the North East of Scotland. Brrr.
And with it has come the obligatory set of sniffles, coughs and earache. Each of us in the house is laid up with something of the winter miseries.
Do you find your Parkinson’s symptoms go a little haywire when you are ill with something else? Mine go into overdrive. So I’m tremoring, juggling and generally feeling sorry for myself. But it’s a good excuse for a nice bath…assuming I don’t get stuck!

I’ve also launched (sort of a relaunch for the eagle eyed among you) my creative club…
Wild Minds is a space for artists, writers, and makers who want to create without pressure or perfection. It’s a club for those who long for slow, considered, and deeply personal creativity, rather than the rush of constant output. You can check it out here:

✨ Pod of the Week: From Parkies & Me by Sue Waight “Memories are sparked in so many ways and sometimes it is surprising. I know when I hear the theme tune for Huckleberry Hound – which hasn’t been for a long time, that I immediately think of fish and chips and can smell them I’m sure!”
🎥 Film of the Week: Just released!
“The Parkinson's Project follows climber and teacher Chris Hamper as he faces the challenges of his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Despite tremors and a loss of motivation, climbing continues to give Chris a huge amount of joy, community, and also remains an activity that he is able to do, despite his Parkinson’s symptoms. As he nears the end of the disease’s "honeymoon" phase, Chris retires early to fully embrace his passion for climbing in Norway and Sheffield. This inspiring documentary showcases his relentless determination to push past limitations and live life on his own terms. Directed by Sheffield filmmaker Jess James.”
