Hello, you brilliant slightly caffeinated lot,
Overwhelm. Itâs a sneaky little bugger. Whether itâs the state of the world, the endless to-do lists, or just trying to remember why you walked into the kitchen, it all adds up. Add Parkinsonâs into the mix, and some days feel like wading through wet cement while someone yells, âHurry up!â
But weâre not doing this alone. Thatâs what Handshake is all aboutâcreating a community of voices, stories, and shared experiences to remind us weâre in this together. The world may feel heavy, but here, we can lighten the load by sharing, laughing, and sometimes yelling into the void (surprisingly therapeutic).
This week, letâs focus on connection and those moments that remind us weâre part of something bigger. The community weâre buildingâblogs, podcasts, books, and moreâis proof that weâre unstoppable (even if weâre a bit wobbly).
So, grab a moment of calm and enjoy this weekâs highlights.
